Our dealership gave my wife a brand new fully loaded X5 loaner while her $15k X1 was getting its windshield replaced. She was like, wow this is really nice. And I was like not a fucking chance.

Must be nice. My last loaner was a 2007 Equinox.

Before we had kids my wife had a Volvo S40. Dealer loaners were almost always new, loaded XC70s. I remember thinking, nice car but no thanks. Now that 5 years have passed, we’re getting one.

New goal: loaner S90.

I remember when I got a brand new XF V8 as a loaner when my POS X-Type was in for a service. Holy purring kitty Batman, but that thing was so nice to drive.

Yeah I posted a while back about how I got a loaded X5 M-Sport as a rental when I had reserved a 1-series. That thing was so nice - seriously close to the perfect car for me - but also seriously expensive.
