Would you rather a 2009 M-sport 328i with a 6MT or a 2013 A5 2.0T also with a 6MT?
The e92 is mine and the Audi is another new engineer’s.

I’d take the E92 hands down. It’s great with the 6 speed manual.
The A5 is better with the 8 speed Tiptronic.
I drove all three versions of the A4 and thought the automatic Quattro was the best. The manual one is great, but I preferred the Tiptronic
The Multitronic CVT one was terrible.

328 all day. I’ve never driven a non S/RS audi that I liked more than it’s BMW counterpart

The BMW, because I just don’t like the look of Audis.

I’ve not heard good things about that A5's seat comfort unfortunately, so BMW wins for DD.

328 because straight-six.
I love the looks of Audis, but I could never do stomach more than leasing one.

Well the 2.0L mill in the Audi is a ticking time bomb so ... the 328 it is!

I’m a Porsche/VW/Audi fanboy, but I really don’t like the A5. Gimme the E92.

As a DD, I’d probably prefer the AWD and slightly more modern trimmings of the Audi. Now, were it a 428i xDrive, I’d go BMW.

I nearly bought an E92 328xi, so my vote goes there.
But can I get it with an auto?

BMW because that Audi has way too much going on up front.

Maybe if it were an 2009 or 2010, but those were all taken care of by Audi by now. 2013 is smooth sailing.

Tough call.
Audi has looks, better tech and AWD, but a sewing machine where the engine should be.
Eh. Gimme the straight six.

Depends on where you live and what the drive to work is like. If it rains or snows a lot, probably the Audi, if not then I’d stick with RWD.

Audi- better interior. Sad, but commuting is like sitting on a couch, and Audi makes a better couch. You don’t watch TV sitting on a Ducati, right? Maybe some of you do, and you’re brilliant, but that’s not my point....

A BMW, please, all day every day. Either that or a BMW. If they’re out of BMW’s, just send a BMW.
Or...maybe...a BMW for a change? Oh right, that’s not a change.
Good.
Hey, here’s hoping the new gig is going along to satisfaction. And there are other German-car guys around! At least 1, anyway :)
