I kind of dig it.

The 370 doesn’t get a lot of love, but I like it. I would like a different color though. This looks too much like Bumblebee.

I still have little love for these. mostly aesthetic reasons.. I wish they looked as pretty as old ‘Z. I’d probably have one if they looked nicer.

I still don’t understand why the Z doesn’t get love. I’ve only driven the Nismo but it’s a great car. Everything you could want out of a sports car.

i could be wrong here... but I think high belt lines are to blame here. You get into miata or brz or 86 and you feel a bit more in the open... with the road...with the car.
Here you feel like you’re in a coffin with few windows.
I know I know...safety safety blah blah. You can’t make a 2 door car safe AND fun. One or the other. They went with safe here.

Overpriced IMO. Similar base mustang can be had for $25,185. you get backseats and a real trunk for less money.

Still overpriced. Slap a factory turbo on it and it makes more sense at 32K

Welp, just like the original , it’s an appearance package added late in the production run.

I like them too. I haven’t had a chance to drive a 370z, but it seems like it fits a good niche. 3200-3300 lbs, 330hp, two seater. Basically a scaled up BRZ. I do think that Nissan ignored it (and the Frontier & Xterra) for entirely too long. One refresh in almost 10 years doesn’t really work. That being said, I think the graphics look nice.

Have you driven one? I think they nailed safe and fun AND coffin.

The 370z is certainly less usable than a mustang, but depending on your purpose that’s not necessarily a downside. I would agree that the starting price should be a few thousand lower, but it does have more power and less weight than a base mustang.
The problem is the 370z is only $3,500 cheaper than a GT MSRP, which has another 100 hp. Edit: I’m seeing prices on Autotrader offering 2017s for 25-26k, which makes the mustang a no-brainer.

Yea, but then you’re driving a Mustang so to each their own :) Again, I haven’t driven the base 370Z so I’m not sure how similar they are.

I think this one looks good too although I’d probably take off those front fender decals.

Thank you, thank you. The seats in it are great for spirited driving, not sure how they would hold up on longer drives.

Yea. I won’t say the mustang is better at handling/braking/road feel, but there is no way in hell the z can justify the huge price gap.

They definetly don’t overlap 100%. The z may be “better” to drive but the loss in usability and insane price gap more than make up for it.

That’s the problem with not refreshing it. It was a solid match for the last generation mustang GT, but has been thoroughly eclipsed.

They look portly even for the era. The 370 also isn’t visually distinct enough from the 350, which also looked meh. It’s like going from a C5 Corvette to a C6, only even less distinct and not as awesome sounding.
