I am very intrigued. How much for it/how many kilometres?

Got a chance to drive one of these about 2 years ago. I wasn’t really impressed.

I can see the appeal if you are a die-hard VAG nut but the E90 M3 was far nicer IMO.

I keep going back and forth on these. You can find them in the low $20ks, they don’t have the timing chain guide issues of the S4, and they’re certainly rare. However, it is a high performance Audi and has the maintenance to go along with it (de-carbon jobs specifically). Not to mention its still nose heavy, even if the chassis tuning is about as good as you can get on the platform.

I would love a smaller sedan or sports car, and this would allow me to use it for trips with my wife and daughter.

If you go for it, make sure the DRC suspension isn’t leaking.

And be prepared for yearly carbon cleanings and really, really expensive brake jobs.

Aside from that, these are solid. This motor doesn’t have the timing chain issues that affect the non-FSI 4.2 V8's.
