This is the new 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. Along with a new MCR, it has possibly one of the worst touchscreens I’ve ever seen.
Seriously, it looks like someone hacked a Maylong Universe M-150 and then lazily glued it to the center stack.

That looks 10x better than Honda’s factory unit to me. It’s clean, rectangular, and not protruding from the dash, either. But I still say every car just needs an easily replaceable iPad dock. Why do they all keep swimming upstream?

At least it’s integrated into the console and not sticking out look other vehicles. The Rockford Fosgate audio is a nice touch.

Had that in the Pajero Sport in Australia. Used it for CarPlay, and it was excellent. Never had to look at the aweful mitsu ui

This. I despise the modern trend of screens that look like someone glued a $40 Kindle Fire to the top of the dashboard. The only way this is OK is if the touchscreen slides up out of the dashboard, then slides neatly out of sight when not in use. Otherwise, it’s just lazy.

I think that’s a Suzuki in the middle. It’s not a terrible idea having a standard double din unit as compared to some custom thing that needs an ugly plastic insert to put your own in to get modern connectivity.

It’s a Kizashi. Suzuki dropped the ball with their touchscreen implementations, coming up with these poorly integrated solutions. Both the Kizashi and SX4 (third picture) use double-DIN head unit mounts -- all they needed was a custom faceplate like the SX4's in the third picture.
