I don’t understand it... Genuinely, I don’t. In 2019 - 2020 Americans will be able to import them... Sure they’re rare, but 60k$ rare?? No!!

I’m not super into BMWs, but that’s perfect. BRG, brown leather, manual, wagon? If I had “fuck you” money, I’d buy it without hesitation.

This is is 1 of 10 of 20 though. It’s perfect. Not like it’s just abnormal M5. Also look at how well it’s maintained. Nearly museum quality with 50,000 miles or something.

The issue is that it’s supposedly federalized so it’s not original. You would think that will hurt the value.

Half the cars that age are like that where I live, and with less mileage at that, so not really impressed. All in all it’s a regular m5 touring with some limited edition stuff stickers on it... Genuinely, I don’t see what’s about it. I’ll go ahead and guess that because it’s registrable in California some rich dude in search for something different is buying it? But still, people with that kind of money to blow into an e34 m5 also have a house in Colorado to register their imports at...

What is an “Elekta” edition? Lots of sources quote that but none seem to describe what it is.

I have no idea. There’s some explanation in the BaT write up but I haven’t checked anywhere else about Elektra

Elektas were further outfitted with shadowline window trim, roof rails, dual power sunroofs, and headlight washers

It sounds like just a runout options package!

Dude! That reminds me - check out the dual power sunroof pictures for the car! Its is stunning!

I’m surprised we don’t have this in cars today.
