Kinja'd!!!

Rover Sterling. The driver looked at me when I passed him like “why are you staring at my ugly old car?” and it made me want it even more. He doesn’t appreciate it enough!

Or he was playing you. He knows he’s got the special sauce, but wanted you to be frustrated by his, “I’m not excited by your excitement” face.

You could always get it’s newer sister, she’s a 1992 (legal for U.S. import) Rover 827 Sterling. 145,000 miles for £1,600 (USD$1,990).

We had a 1995 820Si (2.0litre) and the thing was like riding on a sofa.

The car had some power but you never wanted to go fast in it, you wanted to enjoy the journey and just ‘waft’ to where it was you were going.

Most were 2.0 and 2.5 litre engines and the 2.7 was the more powerful engine used often be the police.

This is one from my local constabulary.

I saw one of those before, except it was at pull a part.
