At 5k for 2 years I’d buy it on this thing. And sleep at night. Haha

I almost feel like I should have made an offer before posting here...

Except we’re all talk and no action, so you’re safe.
I’ll be seriously looking next spring, not this year, anyways. But I’d be all over it if I was in the market. With that warranty.

Fun fact: almost no aftermarket warranties will cover these any more. They’re horrible cars with a siren song, attracting unwitting sailors to run aground on their rocky shoals.

It’s at CarMax. No offers there, just a set price. Also the only people here that have enough money/credit to not be just talk have cars above this range. We all know how bad they are to maintain so it’s in a middle ground of being too expensive to casually buy but too cheap and expensive to maintain for some of the more wealthy Oppoers.

28k for an 11 year old car that could cost you many thousands a year to maintain. Seems like a smart choice, aside from the fact that people with that kind of money would probably seriously consider a lot of other things.
The conundrum: Too old to be a real status symbol, too expensive to be an impulse buy for someone that still considers it one.
