GM wouldn’t know a good car if it kicked them in the nuts.

But is has a kayak on the roof! If I know anything about promotional photos, that is 100% proof of AWD. /s

I predict GM will sell one or two of these things. What’s the point of developing/rebadging a wagon if you’re just going to make it look like a squished crossover. Wagons are a hard enough sell around here, so what’s going to draw someone to this over a similarly priced/sized crossover?

At first I thought you were talking about a crummy rental in Europe. But oh it’s finally unveiled!

I’d love to compare this AWD system vs the one in the subaru

It’s a transverse mount engine so the awd system won’t be as good as a Subaru

It’s probably going to be your typical FWD until you start slipping and not a proper full AWD system like you would find with a Subaru or a Quattro system.

kind of out of line there, considering I doubt they’ll sell more than six of these.

I’m very confused. What one earth is the demographic for an entry-lux pseudo-rugged Outback Lite?

Different kettle of fish. Subaru has created a reputation and loyal following with the Outback. Buick/GM haven’t. I just don’t see people cross-shopping an Outback and Buick.
