Battle of Ontario would be good to see. As far as the WC team, Washington should take care of whoever that is fairly easily. Tampa with Stammer back would be a little more dangerous, but I don’t fear Vasilevsky at all.
I’m a Habs fan, though, so bring on the NYR!

No and no. If we can’t have Ottawa I want Boston (ignoring the real possibility of providing cannon-fodder for the Caps). And no matter whether you like or hate Crosby, he’s one hell of a player.
On a related note he should’ve definitely got penalties for the last two “incidents”. Neither one was good for a suspension, but spearing and slashing are definite penalties.

2 points. That’s all we need. And we’ve been good at bouncing back hard this year... unfortunately the last bounceback was a 5-zip against Tampa and they didn’t have a good time last night either.
That said, if the Islanders drop one game in overtime and we can take one game to overtime, we’ve got it. Or if both Tampa or the Islanders drop a game, full stop. Odds of that are... tight. But we’ve beaten Tampa several times, We’ve beaten the Pens (albeit in overtime) and the Jackets.
This is still very much on.
