Reviews kind of seem to suck. Seems a lot of people are bitching about trad life. So, if that’s an important thing to you, it might better to look elsewhere.

I mean nice price....but 140 treadlife means maybe 6 months to 1 year of tirelife...so you know, buyer beware

Tires are a 2012 batch also. Not necessarily too old but just something to think about.

yeah I also started noting all the bad wet weather reviews.. that’s kind of important for me. I’ll throw a CP on them.

Make sure the reviews you pay attention to are on similar vehicles to yours. TireRack has a lot of reviews, but groups them badly - per tire without a way to filter for size or vehicle.

yeah I always check that. people buy the wrong tire for the wrong car then go about blaming the tires all the time. it’s like reading reviews for TV’s that are negative because the audio was poor... no shit you flat screen sounds like crap its suppose to be used with a sound system.. same thing when you buy all season and are socked when you find out they are loud and don’t corner as well as your old tires on your track car.. duh..

You also don’t want to read reviews about a CUV when you are looking at tires for your car. A lot of tires cross the line between cars and CUV/SUVs, and even just changing the tire size can significantly affect the tread pattern, which changes it’s wet weather handling etc. Let alone changing type of vehicle completely...

I put Firestone Destination LE2s on my ‘73 Buick last year and they are amazing, but it’s a “Light Truck” tire with a higher load rating, so you have to ignore complaints about ride harshness on lighter vehicles, etc... Completely appropriate tire for a 5,000 lb car I use for towing on occasion. Traction has been great in all types of weather. What I’m getting at is that the reviews definitely don’t reflect this tire in it’s appropriate use case.
