Talking Design only.
I really like the lines at the side, especially the one going over the rear wheel arch. I like the integrated deck spoiler. I like how they made new body panels for a car they produced only for two years and never marketed.
It’s probably super boring to drive, but in my eyes, super good looking for a cheap coupe.

If it drives like a regular Elantra, it’s fine. Nothing to write home about, but it’s good enough.

If I may provide a counterpoint.
The body carries too much visual weight and makes the wheels seem tiny. Also I don’t care for short minivan hoods.
I am not a huge fan of Hyundai designs though, they seem unnecessarily busy. I much prefer Kia.

I would actually cite all of those (except the Forte) as cars that look better in 4-door form. The coupes seem “forced” to me. Altima isn’t bad.

I’m not a huge fan of the “flowy” designs that are so popular right now, but this is well executed. I see the sedan version frequently and it’s not bad, either. The Civic makes me want to bleach my eyes.

I usually prefer Kia to Hyundai, but for me Elantra Coupe is better than Forte Koup. I wouldn’t have either.
