Just did a quick ride. Average speed of 22.1 km/h, top speed of 36.4 km/h. My goal is to break 40 and also get my distance skills back up. What’s Oppo up to today?

I used to do a lot of road biking before I gave it up and switched to running after one too many close calls with bad drivers (easier to jump out of the way). Stay safe out there! And definitely invest in an inexpensive road bike if you keep it up, your wrists/back will thank you for it. Also when I was doing big distances, the double water bottle holder setup was SO clutch.

That’s not far off my twice weekly commute to work on my commuter bike. My fastest average over the 10.5km ride is 26.2 kmh and my fastest speed is 48.2 kmh but the bike really doesn’t wanna go faster than that, it’s not really built for it.
