I really, really hate Nissan Juke’s, every time I see one I get a welling up of rage.

This is because I really loved the idea of them when they were first announced, was slightly disappointed when I first saw one in the flesh, but not completely disheartened, they are very colour and spec\wheel dependent car. When the stupid cow in a Mercedes SLK didn’t know what a right hand turn only lane was and broadsided our DS4, we got a juke (in the same colour as yours so it happens) for 3 weeks while she was being fixed. God I hated the Juke, nasty interior, pointless “G” display on the touch screen, which as it’s 1.6 engine could hardly pull the skin off a rice pudding, was a mystery as to why it was there. Then I tried to throw it in to a corner and it wallowed and had the most alarming understeer I think I had ever experienced, all the while displaying the sort of disconnection through the steering wheel of what the front wheels are doing than even a mid 90's Corolla. Sorry but they really are very “Meh” to me.

I’m sure yours is lovely though!!

The UK Market juke offers way more options the Canada.

The Acenta (base) gets the 1.6 n/a.

The N-Connecta (mid) gets a 1.5 Diesel or 1.2 turbo.

The Tekna & NISMO RS (high) get the 1.6 turbo (only engine option in Canada)

It sounds like you either got a 1.2L N-Connecta or n/a 1.6 Acenta. Canada only gets the 17" split 5 spoke. Your market gets more 18" wheel options. The UK & Euro spec Juke are built in Sunderland, & the rest for other markets are built in Oppama, Japan. Mine handles great on stock suspension. Must be different suspension set up.

My car doesn’t have factory JBL Audio, so there’s a space about 5 inches wide, ten inches tall, and nine inches deep near where the jack would normally go. Also the upper grille is a dummy grille, and there’s about 1.5 cubic feet of space in there.

Did you find it felt cramped too? For the size of the thing it felt really tight and I’m not a large man.

I’ve no idea what model it was, it was pretty high spec though, satnav, climate, cruise, auto wipers etc and had nice alloys!

My issue is that they look so different and funky but just so beige to drive and the interior trim looks and feels so low rent.

Yes, even compared to our DS4 which are not the most spacious car inside for their size, plus it just felt so low rent inside.

I’m used to low rent because Twingo (that said the Twingo was a lot cheaper new than a mid spec Juke) but the car really should be at least more spacious than a Fiesta given its a bit bigger. I think all the size went on the big wheel arches.

Yes but a Twingo is a cheap car to buy, Juke’s aren’t (especially in none poverty spec). I think you are correct about the big wheel arches as well!!
