Kinja'd!!!

Last night I learned what nursemaid’s elbow is because my toddler is a spaz. Thankfully the PA took one look at him and was like I got this no X-ray needed. In and out in under a half hour and today he isback to his normal crazy self.

Spoiler: Its a “dislocated elbow” in the sense that a tendon slips out of place, not that the whole joint is dislocated.

We had that with our middle daughter. It happened about three times, I learned how to relocate the elbow after the first incident.

She is now a nine year old competitive cheerleader, and I’ve been at her cheer competition since 7:30 this morning.

WHATCHOO KNOW ABOUT DADLOPNIKING?!

The Mrs. is out of town on business so I’m running a zone defense against a toddler and a 6 month old, and the two cats they want to mess with.

Fun fact about Benadryl; it has the opposite effect on some kids and they’ll turn even more hyper and monstrous.

I think I’ll pass on seeing how that impacts the toddler for now, I don’t think the cats would survive him in full on manic mode.

I know. It shuts my youngest two down, makes my oldest bounce off the wall. Sucks.

Super common, girls more than boys for some reason. That move when they give you a hug from behind and you stand up holding their arms does it, also swinging between two parents while you walk.

My niece has done it three times, our girl is just three so not yet- but I still wince when she’s swinging around..

Hey I just got back from the urgent care with my daughter! (That’s why we stopped at Starbucks as a reward where I saw the Ferrari in my other post this AM.). Unfortunately with kids you get used to the urgent care. They always seem to get sick/injured on weekends when your GP is closed. In and out in under an hour is pretty good!

Then you aren’t using enough! Double the dosage and they will crash like a UCONN basketball team.
