This fucking show. This show is the best representation of learning to ride motorcycles that I have seen in a very long time. From the little snags and learning opportunities along the way (including accidentally getting it stuck in neutral when trying to show a bicyclist who’s boss) to the passion and pride the main characters have for their bikes (the suzuki fangirl is spectacular - paging peter black) it is a surprisingly enjoyable watch and the research the studio did to be so accurate must’ve been stunning.
Oh.....It’s also primarily a comedy anime. So you end up with bits like this (and this is only the first half of the scene, the second half about killed me)

And for the record, the girls i date all love the show now and all want to ride motorcycles. Apparently I need to learn how to fix starter bikes because at least one girl I know is getting one.

I have converted another!
Sadly, one of my girlfriends was in Japan recently and couldn’t find any merchandise related to the show :/ it exists, but is all out of production already despite the manga still going and the show only being a year old.
Also yes, the near-porn is a bit of a turn off because it happens so infrequently and it is just odd. Like, commit to being sexy or just drop it....

Aight, I’m off to bed. I cleaned and oiled my chain this morning for the first time on the KLR. Mileage didn’t dictate it, but it had sat in several rainy days and even with a cover on it it looked a little dry so after that bit of maintenance I’m going to put a hundred miles on her tomorrow.
