I’m starting to feel like I need to give these another try. I think I biased my test drive by looking at the space first, and then I wasn’t on good roads to really appreciate it.

I’ve never really checked out either of the cars that well. Friend at work bought a cheaper stainless exhaust for his, about $500. Some days he has the baffles out so the car is pretty loud other days he has them in and its relatively quiet. All the parts and service guys know whats up but I’m positive its confused our salesmen who are hanging out in the dealership lot during lunch. I’ve seen one cock his head like a dog when the Subie rolled back in from a fast food run.
He recently added some nice silicone hoses and is looking at a Pipercross air filter. He list includes a computer tune and just a few other minor mods. The car wasn’t care for well and the engine bay looks 8 yrs old instead of 4. I’ve offered to help do an engine detailing after I finish remodeling our kitchen.
