Being able to have washer fluid squirt on your windshield...

For the longest time one of my cars (the Mark VII) had lost that ability along with the intermittent wiper function. It’s fixed now. To be fair I was in no rush as I don’t use the car too much in the winter, but seeing as it’s SUPPOSED TO warm up eventually....

I used them incessantly and for no reason today using fluid in the pouring rain.....

The things that amaze me....

Things you take for granted: your thumbs. I played handball for the first time in five years two weeks ago. I play goalie. So happened that I got my thumb shoved in a direction it’s not meant to go... damn it’s been a difficult 2 weeks. You don’t realize how much you need two fully functioning thumbs until one’s missing.

Doesn’t help that I have a fairly high pain tolerance. 1) Finished the game when I probably should’ve just ducked out. 2) Every time it feels better it seems like I overdo it.

I don’t ever think about how great my rain sensing wipers are until I’m driving another car in a light drizzle and have to fiddle with the intermittent speeds constantly.

Last Turo I rented (Mercedes 500SL) had a broken washer, so I pulled over at every third rest stop to clean the windshield. And don’t even start on how bad the mileage was ... and did not put down the top b/c too cold. Some weather asshole LIED TO ME.

I had 0 f windshield wiper fluid freeze on me and it didn’t melt litteraly till I went south to go skiing in vt where I emptied it for - 20 fluid. Thanks Potsdam NY

Those weather assholes have been lying HARD this year. It’s been raining non-stop for about 30 hours here as I type this. It’s maddening.

My Metro had no intermittent wipers at all. Weren’t optioned.
