Back in middle/high school I played upright bass and took lessons at home. Sometime around 1998 my teacher bought a brand new WS6 simply because it was the fastest thing she would find that easily fit a bass inside of it.

Never tried that, but I don’t doubt it. Upright basses barely fin in crew cab F-150s.

Yeah she actually replaced a yellow Geo Storm wagonback with it which was a clever body style that fit the bass well, but once she got an orchestra seat and started making real money she wanted something faster. Funny thing is as much as we thought the Storm was a dopey car back in its day, I bet half the people here would snap up a Storm wagonback if it popped up on CL. I have to imagine there’s only a handful left that haven’t been junked/crushed by now.

Never Forget.
The things I would do for a imported Holden Ute... I don’t care if it’s badged as a Pontiac G8 ST, Chevy El Camino or Holden Maloo - it’s one of my irrational wants. 10/10 would hoon.
It’s too bad Left Hand Ute wants $75k+ for the nice newer ones.
