Jobjoris bought the first Pao I got, so I had to get another one. It looks very nice and, rare thing with Paos, the white interior parts have not yellowed at all! This one will go on sale for 6000$ landed in any Ro-Ro port you want. You take care of getting it out of the port of arrival and of the importation process, but all the other cost to get it to your port of choice are included in the price. Obviously, there would be an “Oppo special” ;)
As usual, this is not as perfect as it looks on the few pictures here, there are a few minor defects, but I have a 100+ other pictures for you to inspect if you’re interested, along with a 20+ minute walk around / test drive video that you can see here:

Very cool! Always loved the Pao! Love the Figaro more though...Pity it never came with a manual AFAIK.
Are there ever any interesting LHD rides there for won’t make your eyes bleed prices? :P

Oh no manual Pao do exist... But they sell for premium here...
Makes me think I forgot to get back to you wth your LHD question. Yes, there are a lot, but only Germans, american or european cars... Pretty much anything you want can be found here.

Manual Paos, yes! I was refering to the Figaro, which, AFAIK, never came with a stick! :(
Nice to know about the LHD cars....my issue is that insurance here is far higher for RHD cars (and also harder to find brokers). My other issue is that the cars I tend to like seem to be very expensive if I were to ever source them in Japan (the 126 or 2CV, for example).

Late reply but I sought out this message as I had been mentioning 2CVs! Just curious...was watching RCR’s latest 2CV POV drive and was thinking how much I would love to have a 2CV down the road as well...I think you had mentioned you lived in France for part of the year (maybe I am remembering wrong :P)...?
Do you ever export euro cars while you are ‘home’ there? Curious what a decent driver 2CV with no rust, but not necessarily in pristine shape would go for in La Belle France! Would be cheaper to get one there or elsewhere in Europe than from Japan I would imagine, although I know their prices are going up a lot... :)
