That poor dog...I like how that scooter’s sketchy owner made a license plate specifically letting the police know his scooter is 49cc (probably because he doesn’t have a license or lost it or something and I assume things under 49cc there don’t require a license?)

50cc and under requires no license or registration, so he’s actually doing nothing wrong. Technically doesn’t even require the helmet, as mopeds follow bicycle laws.

Yeah, I’ve never understood that. Sure, if it’s just an old beater, I guess that works. But I see it on plenty of newer trucks, too.

Oh, I know he’s doing nothing wrong - just saying it’s amusing he has the piece of paper ‘license plate’ as if he’s been stopped for a check by the police before.
For no license or registration here on a bike, they have to be 49cc or less and ALSO speed limited to something like 35kph, and also HAVE to have pedals as an alternative propulsion method.
