Just found out Gorillaz are releasing a new album, Humanz, in April. This will be the first new album in 7 years. Really hoping it will be decent given the time away.

Have you listened to the new singles yet? I love Ascension.
I wouldn’t worry too much about the quality. Despite how much of a big deal people always make about Gorillaz being a collaboration, it’s really just Albarn doing Albarn stuff with guest artists, and he’s always great.

Not yet. Just finished with dinner so I am going to check them out in a bit.
Yeah good point. It was always one of those love them or hate them bands. I fell in love with the first album back when it came out in 2001 when I was a junior in high school.
