But I’m having a hard time convincing myself that I NEED it.
Right button would be horn, left button would toggle between low and high boost modes. Say a conservative 6psi and a balls to the wall 14-15psi. I’m buying it. Not right now.... But there’s no question, I’ve made up my mind, don’t try to stop me with your tricksy logic.
This is what I would be replacing. A cheap neochrome NRG Wheel with an off-center horn button, off-center yellow centering accent (facepalm) and the cheapest, softest hardware I’ve ever seen included in anything. Ever. Period.
And last but not least, my dream wheel. Send me all the money’s now please

Anything is better than an NRG wheel. Like you’d be better off bolting a 13" 2x4 to your steering column. My current dream wheel is a Nardi Twin.

I think the screws they shipped me were made of play dough sprayed solver. Hubs are fantastic though! I don’t understand why the “higher-end” wheel manufacturers can’t design a hub that’s easy to use, safe, and decent looking.... I’ve lost count of the times I’ve seen an NRG hub with a momo/nardi/personal/sparco/mugen wheel attached

I mean it is a common aftermarket design, simpler is better. The three spoke on my trans am looks like a lot of aftermarket wheels (esp boat wheels):
