To put things into perspective - I am closer to my 7th decade than you are to the 7th grade, so lets just sit on that for a while. And that car? Yeah, I think they did a pretty good job with it and that it’s reasonably priced for what it does. But then again I’ve not drive one - although I’m sure next time I’m on Turo I can catch one ....

Now think about how that platform has been around in the US since 2002 with the 350Z, we got the 370Z six years later, and the new Z car coming in 2018 will be out at the same time all those kids born in 2002 can drive. On the same platform at that! So we probably have another 7 years of this platform being sold brand new.

WELL THE MAXIMA IS A 4 DOOR SPORTS CAR SO THERE.
But in all seriousness, yes its heavy but 3300+ just aint that much when Camaros and Mustangs are 3700-3900lbs.
The BRZ is wonderfully light and woefully underpowered. The Mustang/Camaro make fantastic power and are super duper heavy.
The Z is in the middle. I mean, it seems exactly like what $30K should get you.

I agree with you. Those are in the same weight class. I guess my biggest problem was that much weight in a car that small.
I mean, I can’t say much. I owned a 350Z convertible before I bought my current car. It was fun, but it just felt heavy. I know the power was upped for the 370Z, but it still felt like a heavy car.
Eh, maybe I am just nitpicking too much. I just wish it could keep that power and lose a few hundred pounds.

Throw a new 400hp infiniti motor in it and itll be good to go. Its not gonna get much lighter but they can get closer to the camaro and mustang and escape the BRZ comparisons about lightness and dynamics
