Kinja'd!!!

I’m normally not the type to buy fancy gaming mice, preferring to continue to use the Kensington Expert Mouse (a multi—button trackball in which I’ve installed a genuine 8-ball from a billiards supply store) that I’ve had for the last 18 years. Yesterday, at the Goodwill Outlet, I found a Razer Naga 2012 mouse that actually works, and at $0.89/lb it probably cost me less than a dollar.

The fabric sheath around the cable is peeling back, but that’s just a cosmetic issue. The problem with it is that it is the right panel is missing making it somewhat uncomfortable to use. From what I’ve read, there are three interchangeable panels that came with the unit when new. Does anyone have a spare, any size, that they want to sell?

Yeah, but they’re in Canada or China and are either ridiculously expensive or have exorbitant shipping prices. I was hoping to find something domestically. I’ll contact Razer themselves and see if they have anything affordable, but somehow I doubt it...

Amazon has a Razer sale today. $35 for a new gaming mouse is hard to pass up.

I’m totally late, but if you can prove the day of purchase, razer typically has 1-2 year warranty on their mice and they might be able to help you.

I question whether such a warranty would cover an item purchased second-hand. I have reached out to Razer and told them honestly how I came about this item (and a Lycosa keyboard that’s missing a couple keys) and am waiting for their reply. Maybe they have the parts, but if not I’ll head over to FleaBay.

From what I have seen, they have amazing customer service, but yeah I don’t know what they’ll do for a second-hand item. Makes me glad that my deathadder is doing well after two years because I lost the receipt ages ago, though it has developed a random double click at times....
