As with all CST leather, the wrinkles will fall out. I think it looks good. Also, first time I’ve driven an FR-S. This was an automatic, but it’s surprisingly not bad for a guy like me (6'3", 300 lbs, with 30" inseam)

One guy in my local 86 group had leather seats (similar to those) in his FRS. His wife didn’t like them, so he had to trade another guy with the base cloth seats straight up. I told him he was nuts as the leather ones were much nicer.

I actually don’t like leather seats. They throw so much heat back at you and I sweat when I drive the 1 series. And I have a leather Cougar seat as my office chair. I need to get back to cloth SOON.

Is that a One Series? Color makes me think so.

I’m used to the seats in the BRZ with the alcantara inserts in the middle, so seeing leather in yours is very different. Not sure how the side bolsters are so wrinkled up. Anyways, the 86's are fun cars to toss around, even if they are automatic.

Not a 10 Series. They had a somewhat flatter paint called Silver Ignition. The normal silver is called Argento, or Sterling Silver Metallic on the BRZ.

Not the best pics, but here are some I found on FT86 showing the difference.

The Scion is obviously the 10 Series. The paint is a bit more of a pearl grey.

They also came with those HID headlights, same that come standard on most models outside the U.S., and the funky little blue light up Scion badges.

I work for an aftermarket interior shop. We do literally hundreds of cars every month. The wrinkles are because it’s brand new aftermarket leather. They’ll fall out over the next few weeks because the kit is cut based on the factory cloth. It has to be slightly larger.

The customer thought it looked great.

So you wrapped the seat sections in leather, did you do anything else to the interior. From the title of the post I thought there was going to be a before shot to see what all was done.
