This show is absolutely fantastic! It would be stellar if they could get Ed China on it!

OK, I’m curious - what show is this? I figure that the banner is just a company name, right?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

TL;DR - It’s two silly but extremely talented British men cramming a Celica All-trac drivetrain into an old Mini. The fabrication is extensive and intense, and they cover every detail. It’s one of my favorite things on Youtube.

It’s called project binky on youtube. The guys who make it are Bad obsession motorsport. They started with a swiss cheese mini, and replaced or modified damn near every inch of metal in order to stuff the drive train from a Celica GT-4.

It’s the only car show ever made that doesn’t skip the good stuff.

Binky is absolutely incredible. I’m not certain old Ed China would add anything TBH. His experience seems to be more mechanical than fabrication.

Do you honestly think that celeeeca engine runs? It will need Ed’s touch once all the frame bits are bolted on.

Haha perhaps, but I would definitely place the Binky guys’ mechanical skills above Ed’s, although Ed does have a veritable encyclopedic knowledge of the various tips and fixes for old cars so I’ll hand that to him :)

HAHA Yeah. Ed is pretty good at bolting on proper parts. These guys are more like - yeah. that tractor starter will work for this mini.... if we remove this and this and add that.

I wish they had a US based seller for their merch, just so it would be a bit cheaper. But still I plan on buying a sweat shirt, and I have a few stickers that my brother in law bought when he got his coffee.. no tea mug(seariously he only uses it for tea)

hahaha. I know I paid more than I should, but people like these two need to be supported. Anyone could go around yelling woo and call for beer assistance for an hour on TV.

I can’t believe I’ve been watching this for three years.

But it is done in their spare time around their jobs and families.

It is coming on though.

The first ‘episode’ was aired on the 17th of August 2013.

Instalments can be one to four months apart.

The last seven episodes have been from the last 12 months so it appears to be gaining pace.
