I want a convertible again. Have some pics of my former 307CC, affectively called the Blue Whale. That is, until the roof started making problems and I had to shell out to fix it.

Heavy rain in Oslo. Only slightly further north they have snow.

Suits me fine though, as I won’t bring my car out in a few weeks yet.

Great color on that 307. I’m not the biggest fan of x07 series of cars, but the blue looks good on it.

I’m desperately waiting for my 205 CTi to be finished now...

I briefly had 2 CTIs, as in: I flipped them. Was some nice profit, but in hindsight, I should have kept at least one of them. Great little things!

Which reminds me of my vacation in Norway last year, cold and rainy, June would have been better I guess

I like the 607 and the first 307 as a convertible, the others less so. The color was what really sold me the car

I had a red one before the current one. It was quite nice although not that period correct; 1988 yet those taillights, front blinkers, wheels, reupholstered seat bolsters. I had some issues with it (rear axle, improperly installed new clutch) which I had fixed by a shop for a total cost of maybe €1400 as it was already up for auction. I still sold it for a profit. Two French guys born in, I’d guess, the 1940s came to pick it up. This was in 2015.

Wow, it’s exactly how I would spec mine. I always prefered the second gen, and the 1,9 GTI wheels fit so well

This is my current one, on the day I bought it. The incorrect wheels will stay, the guttmann front bumper will go as will the clear indicators and the grill will be body color. It’s from 1987 with the old dash.

I can’t complain about ‘correctness’ too much obviously due to engine swapping the utterly worn and mistreated XU5J engine with a XU10 J2TE (2.0t).

A colleague had one and loved it. But then she bought a five door VW Golf GT Sport TDi. Strange.

Went from a 207cc to a 307cc to a Golf.

We talked about your TCT swap on Oppomeet actually, and agreed you are totally insane :)
Are those front fender flares molded to the bumper?

I’m not entirely sure if it’s one piece (it’s still on the car) but they certainly do belong to the bumper kit. They’ll go. It might be odd but I like stock or almost stock looks. The condition the aftermarket bumper plus flares are in isn’t great anyway and it’s said that there’s a huge demand for gutmann Peugeot 205 parts.

That is a strange change indeed, although I do admit I have said something among the lines of never a Peugeot convertible again once I sold it. I had no luck with my 306 cabriolet and my 307CC.

There is, and on a TCT swapped car I think I’d go with a Gutmann kit, since it just accentuates the shapes without being too loud in my opinion

Looks at house in picture 1 and wonders: Alsace?

Looks up Département 67.

Indeed it is!

I thought she’d of gone for something of a mix of the two and go for a VW Eos.

My neighbour has one.

She likes his Eos and he likes her Golf.

Kinja'd!!!

They’ve met.

Good eye. I love the style of half timbered houses (had to google that) but they are often impractical, since insulation isn’t the best, and people used to be quite smaller (I’m 1,95m, and those often have small doors and deep ceilings)

Strange girl I guess.

Ye’, the ‘detailing plates’ save quite a bit of time and effort on editing the pictures. I can just upload the pictures straight from my phone.
