In good news, Matteo, the dog I was originally going to adopt but ran into issues, was adopted yesterday. I was happy to hear about that...friend of mine volunteers at the shelter.

In bad news the wife and I split and I could not bring Jameson along with me due to my friends issues with allergies. Wife is staying in the house and keeping Jameson...so that’s good for him.

Bonus news, friend I moved in with has a doggo...a Labradoodle (he has allergy issues) who is a great doggo. Nani may be the smartest and best behaved pooch I’ve ever encountered.

Glad to hear the dog you were going to adopt has found a good home.

Shit man, sorry to hear of the split. Fingers crossed everything works out. I hope you’ve still got access to Jameson.

Labradoodles are great for people who want a dog but their allergies get in the way. Granted that doesn’t help much with Jameson but I trust your wife will take great care of him.

Wow that sucks. Separation, or are we streamlining towards divorce?

separated...but I know where this is headed. She claims to want reconciliation but her actions over the last 5 weeks show me exactly why it likely won’t happen. It was a long time coming I guess, but I tried to stick it through hoping for the best. Sometimes things just don’t work out.

Thanks for asking.

I was very excited that Matteo found a home, I thought about him a lot.

Things are probably not going to work out. I’ve only moved the basics so I still see him when I need to stop in...but it’s hard and I don’t like doing it. I miss him more than her at this point...she isn’t being easy to work with. Appreciate you asking.

Nani is pretty cool, but the poodle in her makes her skittish so it took a few weeks for her to get completely comfortable. But she loves me now, and shows more of her Lab tendencies. Doggo loves some fetch! I’ve never encountered a dog so well trained and smart, ask once and it’s done.

Really sorry to hear that fella. But keep your chin up.

People I can do without but it’s missing animals that’s the worst.

When my dad left my mother, to make my and my sister resent our mother, he took away our dog Caesar and put him in a pound. He was a two year old Maremma.

He looked a bit like this but with a larger head, or it seemed that way.

The poodle element can be skittish or super hyper active.

chins up...being nice even though she isn’t. She blames me but initiated the process.

That sucks, people do some weird shit. Doggos certainly make humans look bad in comparison that’s for sure.

More of a reason to be nice, when the other isn’t, they hate that.

I hope it all gets sorted quickly then so you can both move on fella.

It’s not the worst he did.

I got a shitty Dad too...but my Stepdad more than made up for it. Been with him since 2 years old. Sometimes things work out.

My step-father is okay.

Though he can be annoying sometimes. :)

mine is a saint...Mom can be difficult, and with declining health for both over the years she’s much worse now. He is always positive and pleasant even when hurting (often) He’s definitely been a role model.

Ye’, I hear you. My mother is house bound and awkward to say the least.

The step-father is retired under ill health with arthritis in his legs and lower back and tremors. He gets about but with limited use of his legs and needs his wheel chair for anything more than a few metres or for any length of time on his feet.
