It seems like a lot of the lifted pickups with 22" wheels (with not a single scratch on any of the brush guards or skid plates) have a contractor sign on them. Something you’ll notice outside of the industrialized world is that you don’t need a massive pickup to build stuff. A small pickup, or a Hyundai, or a moped will often do just fine.

That’s because if it’s a ‘commercial’ truck you can write the depreciation off your taxes. A few landscaping brodozers in my area. At least they haul a trailer...

Often, sure, but not always. My Cowboy Cadillac as many might refer to it is needed to haul. It pulls a 40' trailer north of 16,000 lbs. on a regular basis. Also picked up over 4,000 lbs of feed in the bed just the other day. Now I use my truck regularly for things beyond just lugging my ass around. Not so for many of the bro-dozers. On the flip side, my truck may be dirty now due to the salt and sand on the road, but she is typically nice and shined up and not a scratch on her, just a dent inside the bed which no one sees.
