I know, same boat. Plus, the lease doesn’t allow pets. Well, I could have a cat for an extra fee, but, you know, not the same. When I wrote out of list of pros vs. cons for buying a house this year instead of next year with a larger downpayment, able to have a dog was at the top.

I own my house, but I live alone and am gone for a minimum of (usually more) a week of every month for work (which sucks in and of itself) so there is no way for me to be able to have a dog.
