Straight lounging

Sometimes Oliver gets a little high strung, like if I’m about to get in the shower he gets mad at me because he knows he can’t follow me in there without getting wet. Other times he’s super chill and likes to lie on his back like this.

My cat tries to grab my leg with both paws when I get in the shower, guess he is trying to save me. But then he sits between the shower curtains and licks water that finds its way in there. Cats are silly.

Oliver also gets up on the edge of the tub and hangs out between the curtains. Sometimes he pokes his head around the plastic liner curtain and I’m like, “dude, you better be careful, you won’t like what happens if you keep going.”

My old cat Julius used to sit on the edge of the bathtub, dip his tail in the water and then act surprised when he got wet.

Autumn used to walk the edge of the tub in my old house. She’d get some water sprinkled on her, but she’d be fine. When she stayed with a friend as I was out of town, she would howl at the closed shower stall. She liked having the option of walking the tub and my friend had a contained room. So she’d be on the glass howling at Lindsey showering inside.

I now have a giant tile box (with 2 shower heads) and she now will sit on the shag bath rug and wait on me to finish. She sometimes is wary as I will still try to attack her with wet hands.
 
I used to have 2 tubs in my house (first world problem) and I’d leave the other tub with about an inch or so of water. She’d splash in it and occasionally drink out of it. My cat is weird...and part Serval.
