Any ideas for something fun to do?

I have the day off tomorrow and I’m desperate for something fun to do, during the day.
My options seem to suck though.

At first I thought of Karting, as I haven’t been in a while. Problem is that there’s only one Kart place that’s open tomorrow, and it’s a minimum of $20 per run. Sorry, I’m not paying (almost) a tank of gas to run for 10 minutes.

Then I thought about renting a sports car and just finding a nice driving road. Sadly the “sportiest” car I can even find for rental is a Buick Verano. Yeah, scratch that idea.

Okay, maybe an arcade? Nope, only ones around here are children oriented, and I can’t stand children.

Bowling? Nope, I have an injured finger right now.

The only things I’ve got left are going to drive some golf balls or go see a movie. Both of these options are kind of blah to me, but would work I guess.

So, anyone else have any ideas? There has to be SOMETHING I’m not thinking of, right?

Mini-golf or those fantastic golf driving ranges with games built in.

Pub Crawl

Museums in town you normally wouldn’t goto.

I don’t drink so Pub Crawl is out. And I actually hate museums. I’m not cultured. lol

Now the golf “game” thing isn’t a bad idea. I’ll look into that. Thanks!

Called Topgolf in some areas. It has holes that you can drop a ball into for points or you play cricket with golf balls. It is awesome. And they have food/beer.

Rent a mountain bike and hit some dirt trails at a park

Didn’t even think of biking. And I have my own bike so no need to rent one. that might not be a bad idea. I’ll look into seeing if there’s any worthwhile places to ride around here. Thanks!

I don’t know where you are located but the Golf Courses are starting to open up around here, also look and see if you have any virtual golf sims around. I played in a league all winter and the sim actually works pretty damn good.

Serious fun, barcycling. You and friends ride bikes around town and get drinks at different bars.

While it sounds like it could be a fun time, I have a few issues:

1) I don’t really drink

2) I live in the suburbs. I’d probably die of thirst if I were to ride between bars

3) I have no friends. lol

Other than that though, I could see how this would be fun.
