Kinja'd!!!

In all of its cocaine white glory. And 240hp is a pretty good amount for the late 80s.

Me, too. I love the white seats, I think they are very classy in context.

The good news is that they are generally easy to acquire, but the the bad news is that the ones with the manual are very rare and pricey ($20,000 range).

Maybe I should just pick up a 6k 88 with a manual and paint the wheels and car. Seems cheaper

You’ll have to drop an additional $850 for the seats , $275 for the steering wheel , and who knows how much for the badging.

Personally, if I were to make a faux-anniversary car, I would leave the rub-strip unpainted. It ties the car together much better when left black.

In 1989 the 300ZX had 222hp from a V6. 240 for a V8 is a bit beardy
