This is kind of cool, but it makes me wish drifting had some homologation rules like Rally. At least it does have a Toyota Engine, a 4 cylinder even.

The rules are stricter than you might think. The suspension pick up points have to stay the same and the shell cant be changed much between the strut towers.

Thats relatively minor really. I get very confused about people questioning drift cars and worry about them basically being tube frame. Its all rubbish, people are fine with WRC cars and touring cars and they see at least the same level of modification.

Very common for FD as a whole. Similar to drag racing really. Big power motors that only last a few runs.
