He did in Spa but his rear brakes were shot the time we arrived the Ring on Sunday so he didn’t go afaik. Still not a bad car actually, he was able to hang with Out but with a W’s MR2 in Belgium.

Dude, any minivan that can credibly lap a track is far from a bad car. Dammit, this is giving me terrible ideas for things to do in the family Odyssey!
A notoriously fragile automatic transmission, two and a half tons of American metal, and 255 horses of VTEC...what could go wrong?

That looks like it was a lot of fun! Hopefully I’ll be able to make the next one.

His Espace has 150 hp of turbodiesel fury, a manual, a lot less weight and over 200k
miles
. It’s mostly the shot brakes that did it in. I’d bet the Espace suspension is better suited to a track than whatever marshmallow they used on the Odyssey.

An MPV shootout on the track would ne awesome haha! The Espace is actually a decent van and it was surprisingly quick for a two ton behemouth with only 150hp.

Everyone is welcome! The more the better, though we were pretty much 2/3 of the European Oppos already.
A 1.3 Polo around the Ring would have been hilarious!

Though question. I really liked the Mazdas but the others were quite okay. Too bad I didn’t get the ride in the Teg and your MGF or the MR2.

Sadly I’m currently driving an ‘04 1.4 Ibiza 4AT, traded in the polo and got my wife a lease car, took her car over.
.....likely would have been nearly as hilarious.

The MG is nice but the exhaust is a little boomy for passengers to have a good time :S still would have been fun though :)
Next time you should bring a ride to join in!

It’s hilariously fun in any car honestly, Twingotamer and I took our Twingos atound the ‘ring, and Clemsie McKenzie took his Clio. I’m sure none of us had a bad time, even though we were overtaken a lot due to a lack of power.
