Also, welcome to the traffic on 305 in the afternoon on Bainbridge Island. People envision this isolated hippy commune, but the cool characters are being displaced by hot-headed rich assholes and unreal traffic because it costs about as much to live here as it does in Issaquah with roughly the same commute time. The poors sometimes move to Suquampton or Poulsbo, which is about North Bend money and commute time now (actually, it might be worse).
They fixed the traffic briefly, then the fix just brought more people and we’re back in bumper to bumper creeping hell.

At least the 305 drive is pretty from Winslow to Agate. Traffic ridden 100 of the time, but pretty. I know my stepmother’s commute on 305 is approximately three minutes. I’m also jealous that y’all’s office is next to the Mora ice cream factory (iirc).

Nah, they moved out a year or two ago. Now they’re in P-bo, since they want to grow much bigger and the facility on the island was much too small for that.
It isn’t 100% of the time, it’s mostly just rush hours. It was a lot better in the past, now not so much, but at least it isn’t all day. It’s worst during the summer when the tourists and snowbirds invade.
I thought they lived down in Wing Point, which is a little more than 3 minutes away. Should be ~5 miles at 50mph, plus the surface streets out to 305.

Ah, Mora is so good. They used to live near High School/Ferncliff, but they have since moved. I’m not sure exactly where as I haven’t been to WA since they moved. I know they’re somewhere on the water. My dad also has the Microsoft account for his job so yes been staying in town a lot more.
