Slight annoyance, when do you call this thing which? Kinda thought the Verde part was historically significant but the QV abbreviation doesn’t make sense if you don’t know it. And how in the world did the US get the part we can’t say or spell?! I thought we were getting the QV shortening specifically to cater to this issue!

I thought that this has already been settled. It’s the Quattroformaggi. A nickname so “sticky” that it will stick forever.

Quadrifoglio Verde sounds like a nice herbal sauce/dressing, something you’d have with a grilled chicken. It’s made from four different leaves/herbs, of course.

Classic Italians. I thought it would have just been a newer name 156 or something. But no, they wanted even the name to be stylish so there you have it; a 62 letter model name.

I’m SOOOO glad that they did not cater to stupid americans on the name. Although I would trade catering to stupid americans on the name, if they did not cater to stupid americans on the transmission instead.

If we ’ re actually calling the Fiat 500 “ The Five Hundred ” ( which still annoys me after a lifetime of hearing the Italian name), then I demand we call this the “ Maserati Four Green Leaves. ” That ’ s what it means, right?
