Across the country! From Calgary, Alberta, to Toronto, Ontario, to hang out with Cletus and make videos. I’ve been here a week now and I’m having an awesome time hanging out with everybody, and daily driving my Datsun. Even more exciting than my move, is the NEW episode of R+C coming out tomorrow! It is, obviously, about driving some old crappy truck across Canada, towing my Datsun. This episode was a lot of fun to make, and I think it’s our best and funniest yet, so please check it out when it is released tomorrow morning.

How is Toronto as a city? Is it an expensive city to live in? I’ve been asked if I wanted to do an internship at the university of Toronto, but I’m not sure yet, since it’s very far from home (the Netherlands) and I’m worried it might become very expensive very quickly.

Toronto is very expensive, but so diverse. You can live north of the city to save some. Southern Ontario is expensive in general.

From what I can see it’s not too awful compared with other big Canadian cities, it’s pretty easy to get around even though there’s a lot of people. I’m liking it a lot so far though!

It’s a diverse city. Public transit isn’t terrible, the food is good, but it’s pricey and hard to find a place. Kanuck is right about trying to find a place a little further out from the city to save a bit of cash, but the commuting aspect might be difficult.
