So it seems after the new of Edd leaving wheeler dealers there was a lot of unhappy fans and it’s got a little out of hand in my opinion, the threats are stupid and not warranted (from the viewers)
To me it seems like it’s starting to play out like a low key version of the top gear incident with Clarkson et al. going off to make a new show and the old show still carrying on, we’re potentially going to have 2 great shows though Edd’s fans (similar to Clark’s fans) will completely rubbish the old show without giving it a try (I will as I like to give any motoring show a chance)

I thought we’d all grew out of this crap, Rangers or Celtic, Man U or Man City, Oasis or Blur, etc... for goodness sakes.
It’s a TV programme we like, but that’s it. There’s no, ‘Edd has left you YOU ARE NOW MY SWORN ENEMY’.
Edd’s left and moved on, nobody died, the world hasn’t slowed on it’s axis, the ozone layer hasn’t been weakened by it.

I don’t see why there is an issue.
These idiots, have they had their life grossly effected by this, or even minutely effected by this? No.
So why do these people need to attack others needlessly because a format on a TV programme was affected?
These people need a sharp wake up call to remind them that the internet laws in the U.K. are getting stronger and that they can now be imprisoned for making death threats, hate speech or intentional incitement to commit harm) over the internet.

I would expect an overreaction like “I’LL NEVER WATCH YOUR PIECE OF SHIT NETWORK AGAIN FOR DOING THIS TO ME!!!” or something stupid like that.
I would be very surprised if any of those death threats are serious, but it sucks that you have to assume they are.

We’ve had the ‘misuse of telecommunications act for years’ now. Use the phone or internet to harass, threaten or intimidate others and expect to lose your phone, mobile and internet. They are a privilege, not a right.
