You take butter, brown sugar, & egg’s. Sometimes pecans or maple syurp (or both) & you mix it. You put it a mini pie crust, and bake it. The classic recipe is like a mini pecan pie with out pecans.

I don’t mind oatmeal raisin cookies.
They are alright occasionally, provided you know ahead of time they are raisin cookies. Few things in life are as disappointing as biting into what you think is a delicious chocolate chip cookie only to discover the dark bits are imposter raisins instead.
