Considering how many people appear to be idiots, that’s pure genius.
Canadian Tire does a similar thing. They’ll have things marked as “Special Buy” that if you check the regular price on the tag is usually the same. Trick is to totally ignore the red tags, the yellow ones are genuine sale items.

Our cinema does that. They do special offers off popcorn, nachos and a drink for £**, but if you price the items up, it comes to that price anyway.
We have a drink called Vimto here (it’s blackcurrant dilute drink), One litre for £3.70 but half litre bottles are on offer for £1, then the half litre bottles come off offer and go to £1.89 and the one litre bottles go on offer to £2.
But stupidly, people still say, ‘but I only want half a litre at £1.89', or they’ll say, seriously, ‘I’d rather pay £3.70 for the one, I don’t want to carry two bottles around’. WHAT?

I try to tell customers. Hell we even have Shelf Edge Labels that tell a customer how much a product is per 100ml, 100g, litre, etc... so they can see if they are paying more for one product over another per 100ml, 100g, litre, etc... but they look at you as if your stupid.

Avery Aspire 5535. I think the motherboard died. It would get to the start up screen and then shut off or restart. Then it wouldn’t start anymore. Little dusty inside but I wouldn’t think any worse for a normal laptop. Definitely not like the horror stories I’ve seen shared on here before with piles of dust and bugs
