Yes, anytime I have tried to sell a car on CL I have been bothered by many people who are “brokers” and “guarantee” to sell my car quickly for a “small fee”
Like the other guy said, block the number ASAP.

Just seems like an awesome market. Find someone selling a thing...offer to sell it for them, taking a fee, and use the same photos and listing. Sounds like a realtor.
The ship may have already sailed, but if I am selling something on CL or Ebay and I want a number associated, I buy a burner phone. So when it is over, I deactive the phone till I need it again.

I had this happen as well. These companies have software that auto-scans craigslist for phone numbers on for sale ads and it gets routed into a call center. When I’ve asked them to take me off their calling list they generally did comply.

This is also why I never, ever include my phone number on a classified ad.
We can email all day. You only get my number when we’re actually meeting.

damn probably not. Maybe if you call your provider and tell them he’s harassing you they can look the number up and block it for you. I doubt its truly unknown you know.

look into an app called Hiya. It basically tracks spam/telemarketers. So when he calls you mark it as spam and hit block then it will auto black a call from that number. Not sure about the impact of the unknown number, but worth a shot with a free app.
