Dash has to weigh 200lbs! Finally starting to work on replacing the leaky evap core on my 96 caravan. About 4 hours of work removing the dash and im down to the A/C unit.
I plan on keeping the heater hoses attached. Under the hood there is enough extra hose where I can pivot the unit out and its flat under the blower motor so I can support it while getting to the evap and clean any dust in there.
I found a valet key! Never been used. Been under the floor heater vent for 20 years. I need to replace the carpet. Want to put dark grey, but its $300 :(

That’s a dashingly large project you’ve got up there

Dang, that looks troublesome. I easily believe four hours, could believe more.

Mostly plastic snap on panels, 16 bolts, few electrical connectors, plus looking over other peoples instructions and manuals to see whats the next step.

The fun part isn’t getting something apart, it’s getting it back together...

Didn’t think of that. I’ll take a look into it.

Exactly, and its an A/C system so make sure I have no leaks is a must. Replacing all o-rings, expansion valve, and filter drier too.
