I had a chance to enjoy driving around the Jetta this week before the next set of storms came in. After been fully buried the only issue was a dead battery and a bit of condensation on the glass in the car. Forgot how much I like to drive this car. Driving it this week made me think about not turning it into VW. It’s basically the perfect road trip car and it’s not a bad little sleeper....if only it could hook up in 1st or 2nd gear.....350 lb/ft of torque all to the front wheel :( .

Holy shit! I always gets amazed by how much you in the US get screwed by the weather. You really do all things big! :D

Here in Eastern Europe we had a huge winter, but even in the mountains you will not get this amount of snow.

Jesus H. Christmas. I’m in northern alberta and we don’t have anywhere near that much snow. I mean sure it got down to negative eleventy billion degrees some days...but man that is a lot of snow. Reminds me of Ottawa in 2014. River ice was so damn thick you could drive to Quebec on the river. We didn’t have open water until April 14th that year!
