Every know and then I need to get something on my google drive and stumble upon all the pictures saved for online ads.
Enjoy my 1997 CRX del sol I bought with my first pay in june 2013 (I think) and sold 2 months later to get a RX8.
I need to get one once again, it was great, and super clean. only thing I didn’t like about it was the steering that was too soft.
It was also my first very successful flip:
2500€ car
~700€ parts
~200€ papers
sold for 4300€ ==> profit of 900€, 26% of return on investment!

Get an Austin Mini with a bit of work needed to it... Repair it, maybe give it a repaint and sell the car for twice what you paid for orgiinally :)
I bought mine 1700€ 2 or 3 years ago... A bit of body work and a new paint was done to it. Mechanically it’s still very fine (need a bit of carb tuning but that’s it). Everything for it ended up cost an extra 1200€. I haven’t sold it and don’t plan to, but this, with the Minilite wheels is worth more than 2900€ today :)
Drives real well too :)

Nice one! I love the original minis, but even in bad shape they cost way more than what I’m okay to pay for. But I would drive it just for the silly look of a 1m95 guy gets out of such a tiny car.
At my old workplace, my boss (as tall as me) had a convertible one, which we once took to get to a restaurant for a lunch for a special occasion (i don’t remember what) we were the last to arrive in front of the whole department, The looks on their faces was priceless. Fun times.

haha, you’re a bit taller than I am (I’m 188cm). Fitting in those is really no problem at all for me though... I still have tons of head room and leg room isn’t bad at all either :)
The more I look at Minis, the more prices are climbing too... Kind of crazy really. These are the cheapest ones I found in your area on leboncoin... Not cheap indeed...

Thanks! I only realized what I had much later, when I tried to find another good one, I might have had one of the better ones out there. I had about 25 calls in one day from all over France for that car.
