Do I paint the red black and go incognito or keep red for extra hp and less work?
Either way, they won’t be able to pretend they don’t hear my horn as they almost hit me. They being the 1-3 people per day that pretend like I don’t exist on the road and try to make their car inhabit the same space as mine at the same time.

STI? leave them red, or paint them MORE red, or get 2x as many, and then paint THEM more red.
Everything else. paint black.

Fiamm Highway Blasters are really loud too, and usually a lot cheaper and more available than the Hellas.

I have no red. Mine’s titanium flash so when it’s dirty like now it looks more silver but when it’s clean it looks more brown.

Lots of positive reviews and seem pretty simple to install. I paid $40 for mine on Amazon (there’s 2 versions with the only difference being packaging and price). I think summit racing had them for $35 but I had Amazon gift cards and free shipping so I think it came out the same either way.

Paint ‘em, they’re easy to take apart to get to the red shells, just go easy on the screw or you’ll strip them fast. I think stealth black or find model paint that closely matches your factory paint and toss a few coats of clear over them for good measure.

Let us know how they do. The Camaro is missing one of its horns and the other one sounds pathetic. Reproductions of the originals are $120 ( http://www.classicindustries.com/product/1971/camaro/parts/35198.html ) so that’s a no-go and the junkyard hasn’t produced anything usable.

Fair enough. I’m pretty sure high frequencies are more audible when you’re in your car. Hence sirens. These just sound so cool haha.
