Image of a DONK owner staring at it with their jaw on the floor with some sort of “DAMN” or “WANT” text on it.

I also noticed that they were able to fold back all the mirrors of the cars in front of them. It may have been a button on the dash and I missed it.

That’s actually more impressive that they have the ability to hack into other vehicles with Verizon’s Hum platform

They also have a button to jump cut around white trucks or other vehicles too tall.

No way it got over the pick up truck or around much of anything else.

So are they gonna release a behind-the-scenes video or what? All I could find was this:

I’m dying to know more about how this rig works. Those look like (stretched?) truck tires, but I’m not sure how the steering works. No doubt they sacrificed a LOT of the Jeep’s driveability just for this stunt. No way does that fit under the hood with the stock engine in place.

And why does the transition clip look so smooth? I could have sworn that part was CGI.

Yeah, it was definitely CG. In fact, I doubt it steers at all. They had one normal Jeep, and one on stilts that could roll slowly forward. Lame.

No stock engine. There are hydraulic motors at each wheel. You can see the hoses running to them.

Yeah, I see the hoses, but I’m not familiar enough with the components to really know what I’m looking at. I mean, lift cylinders are pretty easy to identify, but I don’t know anything about the motors. Can you tell if they are for driving the wheels, or if they’re for steering?

Zooming in doesn’t seem to help much. Is that maybe a small arm at the bottom, extending forward? And then a joint connected to another arm that goes to the wheel?

And then over on the rear axle, I can just make out some kind of silver-colored box at the bottom of the lift ram. Maybe that’s a drive motor?
