Did anyone ever find anything about these? Are they dead?

If so, what about the current cross kart market? I have seen some in video from Hoonigan just this week. I would love to find that builder because it appears to be aimed at asphalt and dirt. But even still I cannot find anyone selling kits or built cars/carts. Cross CartUSA even looks like a dead end
