I ended up working way too much yesterday. I pulled my normal 7-6, handled the kids while the wife went out with a friend, went back to work from 9pm-3:30am, then pulled another 7:30 to 530. FML.

I am way too old to do that now. The summer between my sophomore and junior years of college was spent working 6am-2:30 pm in a warehouse (weekends off) and then 8pm-4am (Tuesday and floating night off). Of course, Tuesday was $2 pitcher night so I often got to work Wednesday morning with a hangover (or potentially still tipsy) and 3 hours of sleep. My other night off usually was spent with my GF and often involved me falling asleep in movies (I saw 20-30 of multiple rom-coms that summer). Damn near killed me, but it helped me escape college with very little debt.
